Schaeffer Fellows participate in site visits facilitated by national partners focused on gaining additional exposure in different public service settings and interacting with high level professionals.


  • Founded in 2001, the Partnership for Public Service is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that strives for more effective government for America. The Partnership has a proven history of promoting public service careers to students and recent graduates and extensive experience delivering professional development, cohort building and benchmark activities.
  • The Partnership works closely with the Leonard D. Schaeffer Fellows in Government Service program to develop an annual educational curriculum including organizing professional development sessions throughout the summer focused on four themes for education.
