Marshall Scholarships finance young Americans of high ability to study for a degree in the United Kingdom. Up to fifty Scholars are selected each year to study at graduate level at an UK institution in any field of study. As a Marshall Scholar, Tenzin Gund-Morrow will study preventative urban planning and policy solutions to public safety issues in the US and UK. Following two years abroad, Tenzin hopes to return home so he can pilot supportive housing models and Alternative-to-Incarceration programs that recenter the city around care rather than control.
